Thomas has been working in this profession for over 30 years. His professional expertise encompasses the full breadth of the multiple facets of architectural design, contract document preparation, construction administration, contract administration, client development, and marketing. His design philosophy is deeply rooted in a contemporary expression of local contextual vernacular fused to a pragmatic and practical application. He brings a wealth of experience in a wide spectrum of projects with varying degrees of scope, complexity and building types. His contemporary regional contextual philosophy has well served Native American Clients seeking to distinguish their cultural identity within and apart from the broader amorphous contemporary American culture.

Owen is a founding principal of Formative Architecture with over 10 years of architectural design and project management experience. Owen grew up in various towns throughout New Mexico and graduated from Farmington High School. Owen enrolled in AutoCAD and multiple construction management classes at TVI while attending UNM's school of Architecture where he completed his Master of Architecture degree. Before founding Formative Architecture Owen worked at RMKM and Dekker/Perich/Sabatini were he gained valuable knowledge working on and managing a variety of project types.
Cameron Kvittem is nearing the completion of his Bachelor's degree at The University of New Mexico. Cameron has been a big help around the office since he first joined our team. A hard worker with a great design sense, he has assisted the office with multiple graphic design and drafting tasks.
Sam Strasser completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at The University of New Mexico. Sam is currently preparing to take The Architect Registration Examination. His attention to detail, work ethic, and infectious personality have helped the team complete several high quality schematic packages and construction document sets.

Stephen Teeters is a founding principal of Formative Architecture with over 15 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of award-winning architecture. Stephen’s passion for impactful design strives to create meaningful spaces which delight the users by creating a unique identity rooted with cultural pride. His Engineering, Architectural and Construction experience helps him to provide a balanced approach in project design and management.

Christine Williams is an Albuquerque native and University of New Mexico graduate. Over the course of her professional career she has assisted in the design and construction of numerous, award winning, educational and commercial projects throughout the state. Christine is also an educator, teaching Autodesk Revit at the UNM School of Architecture and Planning. Her extensive visual representation and digital modeling skills make her a valuable team member. In her free time Christine enjoys traveling, reading, and painting.
